How does the Bump.me Work?

Bump.me is a passive parking aid to be installed in your garage to ensure you never bump the wall or the vehicle again. The design of the Bump.me is such that you will feel it while parking and this will allow you to park perfectly every time.

How do I fit a Bump.me ?

The best way is to mark your car’s position once it is parked in the correct spot, then move the car backwards and thoroughly clean the area where you want to fit the Bump.me. Once the area is clean and dry, simply remove the adhesive backing and then carefully place the Bump.me in position. Apply even pressure for a bit to ensure it is stuck down well. Now simply roll up to it and park perfectly every time.

Do I need tools to install a Bump.me ?

No tools are required to install a Bump.me, just simply clean, peel and then stick it down in the correct spot.

Can I remove a Bump.me once fitted ?

Yes it can be removed by cutting the tape using a thin wire or flat blade. Just remember once removed new application tape will be required. Application tape can be sourced from your local Hardware store or ordered from www.bumpme.co.za

Can I fit the Bumpme using Hilti-type Nail Plugs

Yes, if you have a bad surface on your garage floor or even just need it to be firmly kept in place you can use the 2 mounting holes and secure the unit using 60mmx6mm Hilti-type Nail plugs to secure it to the floor.

From what material is a Bump.me made ?

Bump.me’s are injection moulded from the most durable high impact ABS plastics to ensure a top quality product that will last for many years. Only the best quality adhesive tape and laminated vinyl is used for the stickers to ensure it will look good in your garage for a very long time.

Can I install a Bump.me outside?

Although the primary application of the Bump.me is for interior use it can be installed outside but note the lifetime will be reduced by continues exposure to the elements.

Can I drive over a Bump.me ?

Yes you can safely drive over a Bump.me, in fact some people prefer to have two units fitted one in front and one behind the front wheel. We have tested the Bump.me to be continuously driven over by normal vehicles up to 3 tons.

Can I get other or new stickers for my Bump.me ?
